Hiking the peaks of Tanomah

A guided 3km hike within Sharaf National Park, reaching the cool highlands above Tanomah. The experience begins with a short drive to the starting point, then the trail gradually ascends through forests shaded by ancient juniper trees that soften the air and make the ground feel soft underfoot.

Along the way, you may encounter groups of local baboons that live in the area — observe them calmly and they will continue their day normally.

In the final stage, the route opens up to the summit with a panoramic view of the slopes of Tanouma, the valleys, and the wider Asir highlands.

The route is linear (point to point) and not circular, with transportation provided at the end of the journey.

Level: Intermediate — Steady ascent without climbing or using hands.
